RPA-as-a-service platform
Architecture and business case for an internal RPA-as-a-service offering, delivered and operated in production.
What it was
An internal RPA-as-a-service offering: automation capability available as a shared service, rather than every project standing up its own from scratch.
It came out of Deloitte Brazil’s RPA and RCA practice, which I co-founded as its technical lead — a four-person founding group alongside a manager, a director and a partner.
What I did
I designed the architecture of the offering and built the business case that got it funded.
As the practice’s technical lead I owned the standards, architectures and delivery practices the offering was built on, led a team of around 10 developers — technical direction, quality assurance and hiring — and managed the GCP infrastructure supporting both the practice’s innovation initiatives and the solutions delivered to clients.
Outcome
The offering was delivered and operated in production, and grew with the practice from its first engagement to an established capability.
