GenAI agent hub
From concept through business case, funding approval and delivery, with a dedicated 7-person squad. On time and on budget.
What it was
An internal GenAI agent hub: a reusable foundation for orchestration, tool calling, state handling and observability, so other firm initiatives and client engagements could build on it rather than start from scratch.
What I did
I took the product from concept to delivery, starting with the investment case: I built the business case and the budget, and supported its defence to Deloitte’s innovation board. Once funding was approved, I ran a dedicated 7-person squad covering architecture, DevOps, backend, front-end and UX.
The squad had no dedicated Scrum Master, so I designed the delivery process myself: dailies, sprints, weeklies and reporting instrumented end-to-end in Jira, with sprint length set per project according to task complexity and delivery risk. I reported weekly to Deloitte partners and client stakeholders, presented at monthly steering committees, and ran sprint demos of working software.
Outcome
Delivered on time and on budget.
The hub went on to be adopted across internal firm initiatives and client engagements in several industries. And the reference architecture for multi-agent systems I defined here — orchestration, tool calling, state handling and observability — became the starting point for the client projects that followed: each new agent builds on that foundation rather than starting from scratch.
